Ministry: Russia’s budget surplus at 1.8% of GDP in 2019
MOSCOW, Jan 20 (PRIME) -- Russia’s budget surplus amounted to 1.8% of the gross domestic product (GDP), or 1.968 trillion rubles in 2019, according to a statement published by the Finance Ministry on Monday.
Budget revenue amounted to 20.188 trillion rubles, 101.1% of the plan, and spending stood at 18.220 trillion rubles, 98.5% of the plan.
The Federal Tax Service contributed 12.612 trillion rubles to the budget, 100.5% of the plan, the Federal Customs Service 5.729 trillion rubles, 101.6%, the rest of federal authorities 1.847 trillion rubles, 103.5%.
The budget for 2019 was initially approved with a surplus of 1.8% of the GDP, in July the surplus was cut to 1.7% and in December to 1.4% of the GDP.
